Overview of available Showell options in Salesforce

Managing Showell Shares and their Analytics
Depending on what components have been installed, the following options are available:
- Showell App - Full access to Showell and all its features
- Content Sharing - Instant sharing with your Salesforce contacts, leads or opportunities
- Relate Shares - You can relate Showell Shares to your opportunities or Events/Meetings
- Manage and Analyse the Shares - You can easily view and manage the shares you've sent while also analyzing their performance. Additionally, the Dashboard provides a user-friendly overview of all your data for quick insights.
Opening the Showell App
Depending on what components have been installed, the following options are available:
- Showell embedded under the Home, App and/or Record Tab
➡️ Showell sits embedded as an element of the page - 'Showell'-tab in the navigation bar
➡️ This will open Showell in its own tab - Under the 'Account'-tab > Choose any 'Account' > Open Showell
➡️ This will open Showell as a 'Window' in Salesforce
Sharing Showell Content
Depending on what components have been installed, the following options are available:
Under the 'Contacts'-tab > Choose any 'Contact' > Share files from Showell
- This will open the Showell Share-window in Salesforce
- The Contact you have selected is automatically added as a recipient
Under the 'Leads'-tab > Choose any 'Lead' > Share files from Showell
- This will open the Showell Share-window in Salesforce
- The Lead you have selected is automatically added as a recipient
Under the 'Opportunity'-tab > Choose any 'Opportunity' > Share files from Showell
- This will open the Showell Share-window in Salesforce
Once you have opened the Share-window from Showell:
1. You can search and add other contacts from your Salesforce contact list by typing their first name, last name, email address or account/company name in the 'recipients'-field
- Note: For Opportunities you can provide the Recipients, and connect the share by using the 'Relate to'-field (this will be auto-filled when sharing from the Opportunity itself)
2. Fill in your Subject and Message, and set your share preferences
3. Add files to your share:
- Click '+ Add files'
- Navigate to the extra files you like to add to this share
- Select the files by clicking the '+'mark at the top left corner of the file
- Once you have selected your files, click Done at the bottom right of the Showell App
4. Send the share by clicking the Share button. The share is sent through Salesforce. Showell's share window will close after the documents have been sent.
Relate Showell Shares to Opportunities or Events/Meetings
Depending on what components have been installed, the following options are available:
Relate a share to an Opportunity
When you share Showell content from the Opportunity tab, this will automatically relate the share to the opportunity.
If you have any Share that is not yet related to an Opportunity:
Simply open the Share > Add the Opportunity to the 'Related to'-field and click Save
Relate a share to an Event/Meeting
If you recently had a meeting, or you have an upcoming scheduled meeting/event, and want to link the shared Showell Content (Share Link) to that specific event, you can easily establish this connection by relating it from within the Share modal. This feature allows you to associate the shared content with the relevant meeting or event for better organization and tracking.
Simply open the Share > Add the Event/Meeting to the 'Related to'-field and click Save
Managing Showell Shares and their Analytics
Depending on what components have been installed, the following options are available:
- 'Showell Shares'-tab in the navigation bar: This will give an overview of all Shares sent from Showell.
- 'Showell Shares' can also be viewed on individual bases, by choosing this under:
- the 'Contacts'-tab > Choose a 'Contact' you've sent a Share to
- the 'Leads'-tab > Choose a 'Lead' you've sent a Share to
- the 'Opportunity'-tab > Choose an 'Opportunity' you've sent a Share to
- The Share message itself, can be found under any individual 'Activity History'
When opening one of the sent 'Showell Shares', you'll be able to:
- View the Subject and Share-link: URL to the Digital Sales Room
- View the share Analytics
- Manage/Edit the Share from within Showell by clicking the 'See share details in Showell'-button
- Under 'Email Messages' you'll find the subject and message
Dashboard
You can monitor and analyze your shared content using a variety of data widgets available in your Salesforce Dashboard. To help you get started, we provide several pre-designed templates.
Your Admin, or you, have the ability to design custom widgets that can showcase the most pertinent data to meet your specific requirements. These widgets can also be integrated with Salesforce data, providing you with a holistic view of your performance metrics.
- Shares with the Most Visitors: Identify which shares are attracting the most visitors.
- Files with the Most Time Spent: Discover which files are holding the attention of your audience the longest.
- Most Shared Files: See which files are being shared most frequently.
- Files with the Most Visits: Track the number of times a specific file has been visited.

Can I use all Showell's features from within Salesforce?
Yes, Showell is embedded into Salesforce and it allows you to also open the Showell App, with all its features, from within.
Why and how do I to sign in to Showell?
As Showell is an application of its own, you will have to login to Showell with your Showell credentials.
If in Salesforce, I create shares in Showell, will they be available on other Showell platforms?
Absolutely. You can access any share you create from Showell on the platform of your choosing.

Why am I unable to see Showell's share analytics and tracking data in Salesforce?
It takes about 1 hour for the Analytics to be available within Salesforce.
