Message with your customers and prospects

Within the Digital Sales Room, you can engage in direct communication with all your prospects and customers. This feature allows for real-time discussions, making it easier to address inquiries, clarify points, and provide additional information that may be crucial for the decision-making process.

You can also highlight specific pages or files in your Share room conversations, providing clarity and enhancing the effectiveness of your communications. This capability ensures that both you and your prospects are on the same page, literally and figuratively, as you navigate through shared materials together.

How to use the Messaging feature

Enabling the Messaging feature

As an Admin, your first step is to determine whether you want to enable the Messaging feature for all users at the Workspace level. To do this, simply go to Admin > Workspace Settings > General Preferences and toggle the 'Allow Messaging' option to enable it.

Then, as a User, for each individual share, you have the option to enable or disable the messaging feature. When setting up a new share or managing an existing one, you will see the 'Enable Messaging' option. Simply toggle the switch to activate it, and you're all set to start messaging in your Shares.

  • Optionally, you can specify a list of email addresses of visitors, or company domains, who are permitted to access the share. 

Message from within the Digital Sales Room

Once your Share is set up, you and the recipients can begin communicating directly within the Digital Sales Room (Share Link).

To ensure a secure environment for these interactions, visitors are required to verify their email addresses. Upon providing the 6-digit verification code sent to their email, they will gain immediate access to message you and comment on the materials you have shared.

In the Digital Sales Room, you will have access to the following features:

  • Quick Reply Button: Located in the bottom right corner, this button allows you to swiftly compose a message or add a comment on any page within a file.
  • Messages Button: Found in the top right corner, this button lets you view all current messages, respond to them, initiate new message threads, or organize your messages according to your preference.

When you and your prospects are reviewing any file or document page, feel free to use the 'Link my comment to' option. This feature enables to specify exactly what you are referring to in your messages, ensuring clarity in your discussions.

How often do I get an email notification with new messages?

You receive detailed email notifications for new unread messages after one hour. If there are multiple new messages, you will receive a notification once one of them exceeds one hour, potentially combining multiple messages.

You will also be notified about new threads and messages in threads you've participated in.

Note that the "Enable Notifications" toggle does not affect these notifications; you will always be alerted to new messages.
