Create links to web content
In the Showell App for Web, navigate to the folder you want to add a web link and go into Edit-mode
1. Click the '+ Add'-button in the top right
2. Choose 'Add link'
3. Select 'Website', Enter the web page URL and give it a title
4. Choose how the Web Link should be opened:
- In App: This option will ensure that the Link will open in the Showell App itself.
- ➡️ If you primarily use the Showell App for Web, it is advisable to test the link after creation as many websites do not allow embedding. Check the FAQ for more information.
- In New Browser Tab: Choosing this will open the Website link in a new browser tab.
5. Click 'Save' to add the web link

1. Open Showell Admin and Navigate to the folder you'd like to add a webpage link to
2. Click in the top right corner on Add > Link to web page
3. Enter the web page URL and give it a name > Done
💡 FAQ
How doe the web link open in the Showell App?
By default with the Showell Native Apps (Windows, iOS and Android), the web link will open in Showell itself, as we provide a build-in browser.
With the Showell App for Web, the link will either open in the App itself (if the Web Page allows embedding), or it will open in a new browser tab.
However, you also have the choice to determine where they open yourself: See Point 4 above.
