3D models come in many shapes and sized. Showell lets you and your customers view them on any device!

3D files
1. In the Showell App, open the 3D file you would like to view, the same as you would open any other file
2. Click the Settings-button in the bottom right in order to adjust the settings of your 3D image:
- Set background: Choose a background from the gallery (skyboxes)
- Remove image: Remove the background image
- Switch X & Y axis: Rotate the 3D image from horizontal to vertical alignment
- Auto-rotate: Let the 3D model rotate automatically
- Exposure: Set the exposure of the 3D model and background (light <-> dark)
- Display Shadows: Let the 3D model cast a shadow
- Select image for lightning: Choose an image from the gallery (skyboxes) to set the color tone of your 3D model
- Remove image: Remove the image for lightning
Smart Tools (Web Apps)
Aside from 3D content, HTML5 files can offer a wide variety of other options as well, such as calculators, forms and configurators.
1. In the Showell App, open the Smart Tool you would like to view, the same as you would open any other file
2. Unlike regular 3D files, the options available in Smart Tools are built-in by the creator. Check out the video above for a great example of the limitless possibilities these tools offer!
AR files (Augmented Reality)
Augmented Reality files are fantastic to show your 3D content in a real world environment.
1. In the Showell App, open the 3D file you would like to view, the same as you would open any other file
2. You have the freedom to view your 3D content in a way that feels immersive and lifelike. Place a lamp on your desk, a tractor in your neighbor's field, or even your dream car in your own garage. AR brings your 3D models to life and allows you to interact with them in the context of your everyday surroundings.
💡 FAQ
Can 3D files be viewed from the Digital Sales Room?
Yes, you can definitely view 3D files directly from the Digital Sales Room. However, its options are not available. To set a background for your shared 3D file: first do so within the Showell App and then share the file.
Since Smart Tools are custom made, they might not function properly in the Digital Sales Room. If you experience any difficulties, please don't hesitate to reach out to Showell Support for assistance.

Why am I unable to view AR files?
AR files can only be viewed on iPad and iPhone models that were released in 2017 or later.
