Branding

In addition to creating your own courses, you can enhance the general look and feel of the Courses main page and (sub)categories with your company's branding, and you can rename the 'courses'-tab in the side menu. These features add a personalized touch that resonates with your users.

How to change the "Courses" main page image and tab naming

1. Open the Showell App for Web
2. In the side menu, click 'Admin' > 'LMS Settings'
3. From the 'Branding'-tab you'll have the ability to:
   1. Upload or change your main page image
   2. Rename the 'Courses'-tab

Categories

You can organize your courses into custom categories and subcategories of your choice. Additionally, a single course can belong to multiple ones. The categories will be displayed when the user clicks the 'courses' tab, and this is shown in the order you have specified.

Furthermore, each (sub)category can also have its own image - to further help with tailoring the LMS courses feature to your company needs.

How to manage categories:

1. Open the Showell App for Web
2. In the side menu, click 'Admin' > 'LMS Settings'
3. From the 'Categories'-tab, you'll have the ability to:
   1. Create (sub)categories (each with or without their own image)
      1. If you do not set an image, it will use the image of its parent category, or the main branding image.
   2. Drag and drop categories in the right order
   3. Remove or edit categories

Tip: you can also create new categories while setting up a course.
